Agencies of all disciplines are expereincing a major change in their business - and the numbers don't lie. Research projects 2009 to show a 4.8% drop in TV ads, a 6% drop for radio, a 5.3% decline for magazines, a 1.4% dip for outdoor and an 8.8% drop for newspapers. The one area of growth: the Internet, where growth next year is projected to come in around 10.4%.
