GreenUpBiz is a partnership between Coretomic, an eBusiness website technology platform company, Champlain College, a 150 year old educational institution with strong assets in eBiz and U.S. corporate members, formed to implement, educate and empower businesses to Green Up their operations with eBusiness tools, processes, knowledge and teamwork.

Why is this important.  Snail mail, paying by paper check, delivery of files by courier, etc., are inherently inefficient and wasteful.  There are other options which are inherently efficient, reduce energy consumption,  and provide their user with a competitive advantage.

We believe that more and more businesses are moving online and that the only corporate physical space in the virtual world is the corporate website.  This makes the corporate website the place where all business processes will eventually occur.  We have seen the fast adoption of eBiz processes for large corporations such as Verizon, but have recognized that small to mid size businesses can not afford this technology and/or will have a hard time implementing this technology on their own.  We are also seeing that customers are demanding a 24/7 connection to any place of business.  This driving need for self service will benefit any corporation that has moved it's processes online, out of the back office and off the road. 

Example: Verizon Wireless has moved all business processes online.  Online you can order service,  change and manage service,  view your bills,  have your bills emailed to you digitally,  pay your bill,  dispute your bill,  get support, upgrade your plan and so much more.
